” You can see there’s a duality in the work. Of the cat that complies with the human world, that adapts and actually participates. He sits at a table with two people as a kind of observer but also a cat can adapt to what happens outside. A cat can survive in feral circumstances, it’s doubtful however humans will be able to do so. And that’s maybe the field of tension in this work, nature versus culture, city versus landscape. “
